Our Logo
A Testament to Tradition & Heritage
Our logo captures the essence of classic golf design while paying homage to the rich cultural tapestry of our region and Minot.
THE SHIP – the centerpiece of our design is the Scandinavian longship, a nod to Minot's Nordic heritage. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Beowulf, the distinctive shield-lined vessel represents strength and adventure. The ship's presence is no coincidence – it mirrors the journey golfers take across our course's remarkable twelve bridge crossings. Each hole presents its own water challenge, making the vessel a fitting symbol for navigating our distinctive layout.
WATER/HILLS – the waves beneath the ship serve a dual purpose, representing both the course's abundant water features and the rolling topography that defines our landscape. These undulating lines tell the story of our challenging terrain while symbolizing the rewarding journey each round presents. The design captures the essence of our course's natural contours, creating an immediate visual connection to the course experience.
THE SAIL – perhaps most telling is the billowing sail, which embraces one of our course's most defining characteristics – the wind. Rather than shy away from this natural element, we've made it an integral part of our identity. The sail stands proud, suggesting the strategic challenge and added dimension that the prairie winds bring to every round.
